Video generation

Video is the differentiator. A short clip costs 100 to 300 DreamCoins depending on length and quality, and renders in roughly 20 seconds. Candy AI charges extra tokens for comparable output, and CrushOn, Replika and Character AI do not generate video at all.

The clips are short, and motion artifacts appear when you request fast movement. For slow, close-range scenes the output is convincing. Treat video as a bonus that is included rather than the reason to subscribe.

Voice calls

Voice calls cost 50 DreamCoins per minute and run across 19 distinct voice profiles. Latency is acceptable and the emotional inflection is better than flat text-to-speech, but longer sentences still sound synthetic and the coin burn is fast: 20 minutes of calling consumes 1,000 DreamCoins at that observed usage rate.

This is the one feature where we would tell you to set expectations low. If voice is your main use case, budget for extra coins.

Character creation

Character creation is the category where OurDream AI earned a perfect 5.0. You build from scratch across appearance, body type, personality traits, backstory, interests, kinks and voice, then refine after launch. You can also browse the community feed, copy a public character and modify it, which is the fastest path if you do not want to start from a blank form.

OurDream AI free plan: what you actually get

The free plan exists to let you judge chat quality, not to be used long term. It caps how many messages you can send per day, lowers image resolution and restricts NSFW output. You can create a character, hold a real conversation and generate a few trial images before any payment details are required.

On the current annual-billing screen, Premium is reduced from a displayed $19.99 monthly rate to $9.99 per month, billed as $119.88 per year. Luxury is reduced from $59.99 to $29.99 per month, billed as $359.88 per year. Both annual offers therefore show a 50% lower monthly equivalent than their month-to-month prices.

The latest pricing screen also advertises first-month DreamCoin bonuses on annual billing: +1,000 DreamCoins for Premium and +5,000 DreamCoins for Luxury. These are promotional first-month bonuses, not a recurring monthly allowance. DreamCoin top-up prices can change, so confirm the live checkout before buying extra coins.

DreamCoins explained: what a 1,000-coin balance can cover

DreamCoins are the internal currency for anything the platform has to render. Text chat on a paid plan is unlimited and costs no coins. Media does.

Common problems and how to fix them

Most issues people report fall into four buckets, and three of them are fixable in under a minute.

Images or video fail to generate

Check your DreamCoin balance first. Generation silently fails or queues when the balance is too low for the request, and a video clip needs 100 to 300 coins available, not 10. If the balance is fine, the queue is busy: paid plans get priority, and retrying after a minute usually clears it.

The companion forgot something important

Memory works from what you established clearly, not from everything you ever typed. Details mentioned once in passing during a long scene are the ones that drop. Restate the fact directly in a normal message and it will persist from there.

Coins run out before the month does

Replies feel generic

Switch from Balanced to Creative mode, and check your character's personality settings. Companions built entirely from positive traits produce agreeable, forgettable conversation. Adding one flaw such as stubbornness or bluntness changes the output immediately.

Cancelling, refunds and billing

Cancel from the billing section of your account settings before the renewal date. Cancellation stops future charges and access continues until the end of the period you already paid for. Charges appear on statements as Dream Studio rather than the platform name.
